Samaritan Ari Jackson is the author of the young adult novel, Marked For Slaughter, a book inspired by her own friend group and encouraged by her love of superhero comics.

She enjoys solving puzzles and riddles. Her favorite hobby is reading, whether it be a fantasy novel or a comic book.

"I wrote Marked For Slaughter because I thought I could do it, so I did. I didn't need the extra credit because I already had a 98 in the man's class. I did it because I wanted the confirmation that, if I worked hard enough for my goals, I could achieve anything."
