SAR ABSW is rebuilding as a regional chapter dedicated to creating space for connection, visibility, and community among Black social workers in and around the San Antonio area. This website serves as an initial point of connection as we begin this next phase of growth and development.
At this stage, our focus is on:
🖤 Reconnecting with Black social workers in the region 🖤 Building relationships and community 🖤 Listening, learning, and shaping the chapter intentionally.
We recognize the importance of creating spaces that are culturally grounded, affirming, and centered on collective care. As we continue to build, this site will evolve to reflect the voices, needs, and priorities of the community.
