This privacy policy applies to the Sarcasmify app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by **Stefan Sörensen (Sarcasm Lab)** (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

The Application processes information to provide its core functionality (generating humorous, AI-driven roasts from uploaded photos) and to improve user experience.
#### A. User-Provided Content (Photos and Media)
To use the primary features of the Application, you may upload or capture photos.
* **Transient Processing:** Photos uploaded to the Application are processed in real-time solely to generate AI commentary and audio. Photos are **not** stored permanently on the Service Provider’s private servers.
* **Local Storage:** Generated video clips, audio files, and text roasts are saved locally on your device if you choose to export or save them.
#### B. Automatically Collected Technical Information
The Application may automatically collect certain device and usage information, including:
* Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
* Operating system type and version.
* App usage metrics (e.g., features used, session lengths, time and date of access).
* The Application **does not** gather precise GPS location data.

### 2. Third-Party AI Services and Data Processing
To generate AI content, the Application interacts with third-party Artificial Intelligence API providers. By using the Application, you acknowledge and agree that your data is transmitted to these providers solely for content generation:
* **Google Cloud / Gemini API (Google LLC):** Uploaded images and prompt texts are sent to Google's Gemini API to analyze the image content and generate text-based humorous roasts.
* **ElevenLabs API (ElevenLabs Inc.):** Generated text roasts are sent to ElevenLabs to synthesize voice audio.
Data transmitted to these providers is handled in accordance with their respective privacy policies and API data handling terms. We do not sell your personal data or images to any third party.

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help improve the Application. The Application utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device:

The Application is rated **PEGI 16 / ESRB Teen** due to the humorous and mildly provocative nature of AI-generated roasts.
The Application is **not intended for or directed towards children under the age of 13**. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take immediate corrective action.
