Sara Malik

I am an assistant professor at the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business and an IZA Research Affiliate. I graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2021 with a PhD in Business (field: accounting).

My research interests include non-investor stakeholders (e.g., consumers, local communities, etc.), disclosure, and real effects. At present, I focus on the intersection of labor economics and accounting, and I study the impact of disclosure and reporting on job seekers and employees.

Prior to matriculating at Stanford, I worked at Cornerstone Research, an economic consulting firm, for five years.
