In this class, I learned how living organisms systems function and how they are structured. All the way from little cells to whole organisms. The lab work taught me hands on skills like conducting expriments, using a microscope, and how to properly analyze data. Both the lecture and lab offer critical information to understanding science.

Pig dissection: We used a preserved pig and observed characteristics like the head, snout, hooves and ears.

Brine shrimp lab: We took the brine shrimp and put in a different salt concentration in each tube of shrimp, to see how many would pass away per the salt concentration.

Forensics lab: We took DNA samples and put them in a reader so we could determine whos fingerprint did a certain "crime"
