Hello and welcome to my website! Hi, my name is Sarah, I'm currently 22 years old and I've been doing graphic design since I was about 12 years old. That’s when I discovered a side of YouTube that taught people how to use Photoshop and the cool things you can do with it. Ever since then, I've continued to use Photoshop to create a lot of graphics for myself and friends, especially for my YouTube, Twitch and Twitter. The one thing I create the most, which I think is a key factor for appearance when it comes to trying to network, is your banner. Banners usually are the one thing that attracts a person's attention to something because it holds the title of the brand, your name, or what you're advertising. I have created multiple banners for myself, I've done one for my boyfriend and I've made up templates for free and gave them to people that were interested, to start this line of work for myself. It's something I've always been interested in doing but I've always wanted to make sure it was something I enjoyed doing and was passionate about. I do plan on going to college in the future once I can decide what it is I would like to study.
I've been dedicated to film for years, but most recently saw that it may not be what I want to go to school for, and that maybe graphic design is the path I want to take after being self taught for 7 years. In High School I had a class called Communications Technology where I learned more things I could do on Photoshop and even got introduced to drawing tablets. At first, I was not keen on drawing tablets, but after I used it a year ago to make a father's day gift for my dad, I loved the idea of it because it can really expand your digital art skill. Multiple people have told me over the years I had something in me when it came to what I could do on Photoshop, but I always believed film was for me, and a part of me still does, but after I've seen the most recent response to the free template banners I made and how my boyfriend responded to the one I made him, I believe I have a passion and skill lying elsewhere waiting to be seen.
