"I really loved the TA I had this quarter. She's one of my favorite TA's at my time at UCI. She is very knowledgeable in what she's teaching, and has the added perspective of someone who is actually using similar statistical methods in her own research, but what really sets her above and beyond is her enthusiasm for the material, and at 7 in the evening, no less. I have had many TA's who understand the material well themselves, but poorly communicate it to the students. Or they can have such a dull, monotonous voice that most students lose interest and don't pay attention. I attended almost every discussion section, even though I didn't really have to, in large part because the TA's enthusiasm for the material and welcoming attitude made me eager to review the material."
