The main purpose of this training document was to help solve problems faced by the online English teaching company Wintutor. I first conducted an interview with the HR Manager to help identify their concerns while taking in account the perspective of the tutors (the learners of this training) to create a Training Needs Analysis.Â
Among the many goals and learning objectives needing to be addressed the common goal of both the tutors and company was to ultimately increase student/client retention.
I used andragogy principles, research and first hand experiences to create a concise, visually appealing, training document containing need to know information and practical solutions that addressed each concern and objective. Space for tutors to reflect on how they can best apply the information was provided and help them connect it to their situation.
