Performing Corporate Bodies is the first sustained study of corporate theatre, a global performance practice that brings actors, dramatic scenarios, improvisation, and embodied exercises into workplace training. Drawing on a decade of ethnographic research in India and sites in Dubai and Cape Town, the book examines how theatre has become a tool for shaping workers, workplace cultures, and organizational life under global capitalism. In doing so, it asks what happens to theatrical practice, and to our understandings of performance, labor, and power, when theatre enters the corporation.
