Supporting teacher education in Korea
Supporting teacher education in Korea
I first began working in Korea in 2016 when I was invited to deliver a keynote at the International Conference on Multiculture and Education at Incheon University entitled: Lesson study is like air: adapting Japanese lesson study to an English context. I also gave master classes on lesson study to academics and teacher trainers from the university and local school leaders.
I was subsequently invited to become an International Education Research Fellow with Cheongju National University of Education and in this role have delivered presentations for other education conferences including: Coercive autonomy? A paradigm shift in in-service teacher education in England (2023) and New thinking on education: innovation in UK schools (2024).
