About Me

Hello! 

Thank you for coming to my website, and welcome.  My name is Sarah Orban, and I started working at Burke Memorial Elementary School in August, 2023. I am in my 18th year of teaching, I have a passion for wellness, and I have been working in wellness-related jobs since 2005.

I attended the University of New Hampshire for undergraduate and received a BS in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training. I received my MS in Applied Kinesiology and Physiology, with a concentration in Athletic Training, from the University of Florida. I hold a national certification and a Massachusetts license as a Certified Athletic Trainer and a national certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Most recently, I spent 14 years working at a private high school in Massachusetts, where I taught Anatomy & Physiology, Personal & Global Health, Skills & Academic Strategies, and Fitness to 11th and 12th grade students. I also worked as a member of the residential program at the school.

In my free time, I enjoy playing with my 8 and 6 year old sons and spending time as a family with my husband and our dog. I have been figure skating since age 4 and currently compete as a member of an adult synchronized figure skating team. I also love traveling and exploring, and spending time on the beach in the summers.
