Earned my stripes at Workday, starting in 2014 as a copywriter and progressing through every level of writer before making the jump to Associate Creative Director in 2022. And now Creative Director in 2023. Discovered that I love inspiring and leading a mighty team of writers almost as much as the writing itself. And also helping shape strategy and operations.
Wrote everything: emails, web copy, video scripts, keynote opening videos, on-site event copy, a smattering of ads and a random commercial, crazy-custom print pieces for prospective customers, and more. Wrote about writing everything: presentations for teams we work with, internal training resources, strategy decks, brand guides, etc. Bled the orange & blue, every day.
ZIPREALTY (NOW: ZAPLABS), 2010-2014
Copyedited real estate listing flyers until they discovered I could write marketing copy. Starting in 2012, worked as the sole marketing writer for the website, emails, advertising, video scripts, and CRM emails. Got schooled in the B2C to the B2B.
