I'm a STEM postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian.
I use multiwavelength observations to study star formation in galaxies across cosmic time and I work to promote an inclusive culture in STEM.

Before coming to the CfA in October 2024, I was an Oort Postdoctoral Fellow at Leiden Observatory in the Netherlands, where I collaborated with the dusty galaxies group led by Jacqueline Hodge and the LOFAR group led by Huub Rottgering. In 2019, I obtained my PhD from the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy (MPIA) & the University of Heidelberg. With my supervisor Eva Schinnerer, I used the multiwavelength COSMOS survey to understand how galaxies form and evolve over cosmic time. I was born in Perth, Australia and studied Astronomy at the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra.
My expertise covers both optical and radio astronomy, as well as understanding local and distant galaxies. I actively collaborate with international surveys/teams including COSMOS and LOFAR to obtain statistical samples of galaxies and constrain the physical processes important for galaxy evolution. See "Research Projects" for info on my work!
I am also a mental health advocate. See Resources for some of the talks I've given on mental health in academia, and my blog posts can be found on Linked-in.
