I am a Professor of Economics at the University of Reading.
My research interests lie in the area of applied microeconomics and labour economics. My main research area focuses on the graduate labour market, with particular interests in creative graduates and the role of preferences and beliefs in labour market decisions of graduates.
I am also interested in other aspects of the labour market: human capital; gender and the labour market; and the economics of sport, with a particular focus on economics insights using cricket data.

When I am away from my desk, I enjoy spending time with my husband and baby daughter and attending sporting events. In particular I love watching cricket (I am a bit of a purist) and rugby union (I am a long suffering London Irish fan). I also enjoy walking, visiting National Trust places and reading.
