Classroom Routines & Procedures

Each morning I will stand by the door to welcome all of my students with a greeting of their choice to help them feel more comfortable in the classroom.

At the end of each week, I will send a newsletter home with each student so their parents know what their children will be learning each week, and if they need to send any supplies to school with their child.

Every month the students will be given the chance to earn a party by completing a challenge like filling a jar with marbles that are earned each time the class as a whole does well or follows directions well.

Every time a student is seen doing an act of kindness or following directions to the best of their ability they can receive a golden ticket that can be put towards a prize every friday.

Every morning when the students sit down there will be a question to answer, or an activity to complete on the board.

When transitioning to a new subject the students will get a music break where they can stand up and get their wiggles out before starting a new subject.
