Children Exploratory Centre
Nurturing the Potential of Young Minds Living in Johor Bahru City
By 2050, more than two-thirds of the world’s children will live in cities, their experiences and exposures are shaped by the form and quality of urban space (United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs Population Division, 2019). High-rise and high-density urban development has squeezed children's public activity spaces, such as outdoor playgrounds and green spaces (Bao et al., 2021). Hence, Children Exploratory Centre at Jalan Bukit Chagar, Johor is proposed to foster a nurturing atmosphere for a collaborative and fun learning experience for children living in Johor Bahru City, besides promoting for a vibrant urban setting in the neighborhood.
