Welcome! I'm a research fellow at RWI - Leibniz Institute for Economic Research and from November 2025 until November 2026 a visiting scholar at Columbia University. 

My research interest lies at the intersection of labor, migration and education within development economics. I am particularly interested in how skills, beliefs, and psychological traits shape individuals' employment, migration, and education decisions. 

I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Göttingen.
