I hope this site will provide useful information as you integrate more technology in your classroom.
I am a digital integration facilitator (DIF) in Moore County, North Carolina. Currently assigned to Southern Middle School and West Pine Middle School, I assist 6th through 8th grade faculty with technology integration.
My main responsibilities are to introduce teachers to new and exciting tech ideas, aid seamless tech integration through co-teaching, conduct professional learning sessions, teach new technology skills to students and co-coach robotics teams.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and German Studies from Appalachian State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching specializing in Secondary Social Studies Curriculum and Instruction from North Carolina State University. I am certified to teach social studies for grades 6-12 in the state of North Carolina.
I served as a classroom teacher in Wake County, NC for five years and left the classroom to travel as a professional learning consultant for Discovery Education for 3 years. I returned to the classroom in April 2019 to serve as a digital integration facilitator for Moore County Schools.
North Carolina bred, I'm happy to be back in my home state doing what I love in the classroom.
