I am a lecturer in philosophy at Cardiff University, specialising in the philosophy of language. My work explores the nature of meaning and communication. It is informed by empirical research in the cognitive sciences and addresses questions of social and political importance. Recently, I have been focusing mainly on digital technologies, especially social media and AI.
