I am a lecturer in philosophy at Cardiff University. 

My work explores the nature of meaning and communication. It is informed by empirical research in the cognitive sciences and addresses questions of social and political importance. 

Recently, I have been focusing mainly on digital technologies, especially social media and generative AI. 

I am a co-organiser of PhilMod, a community of academic researchers and technology professionals interested in the philosophical implications of content moderation and social media platform policy.
