Welcome to Sarah's webpage

I am currently on the job market. I am passionate about optimization, game theory, and generalization bounds and eager to learn more about other aspects of machine learning.

I am a 4th-year Ph.D. candidate at the Korteweg-de Vries Institute at the University of Amsterdam. I am very fortunate to be advised by Tim van Erven. My research interest is theoretical machine learning, more specifically I am interested in: 

• Mathematical optimization, in particular, I am interested in stochastic and online optimization.

• Game Theory in the context of machine learning. 

• Generalization guarantees for optimization algorithms.

I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Technical University of Munich.
