I am Sarah Etienne, a current UCF undergraduate student. Despite the challenges, I graduated high school at 18, got my associate's degree at 19, and transferred to the biggest university in Florida at 20. When all the doors seemed to shut on me, I found a new door with other adventures, nursing. I began acing my exams, using student coaches, seeking counseling, and sharing my advice with youth. I have so many opportunities to learn and take responsibility for not just myself, but others in my community.
