The role of faith-based organizations to support first 1000 days parents in bandwidth-constrained communities

The first 1000 days (FTD) of life, from pregnancy through delivery, to a child's second birthday can be filled with lots of anxiety and uncertainty. Expectant and parents with infants generally resort to digital resources to supplement the clinical guidance provided by their healthcare providers. I explore how parents are engaging with digital resources for the following; a) social media interactions, b) information-seeking behaviour, and c) the role of faith-based organisations (FBOs) in supporting parents during the FTD phase in bandwidth-constrained communities. Further, how what we learn can influence virtual FTD curriculum design for parents.
