As of November 2024, I am assistant professor (RTT) in numerical analysis at the Department of Mathematics at Università di Genova.
Since 2022 I am doing my research at the Methods for Image and Data Analysis group (MIDA) at Università di Genova, and at the Life Science Computational laboratory (LISCOMP) at IRCCS Ospedale Policlinico San Martino.
Before that, I was a Université Cote d'Azure Excellence Program research fellow working at the Epione group, INRIA Sophia Antipolis and a post-doc at the Centre for Medical Image Computing group (CMIC), UCL, London.
My research work is at the boundary between mathematics and application - for biological modelling in particular. I have been developing models, methods and algorithms for neurodegenerative diseases and oncological applications.
