Photoredox catalysis aims at using visible-light activated catalysts 

for carrying out synthetic transformations under mild conditions

along with high efficiency.

My research focusses on the use of the inherent strain present in

 small rings and their release via photocatalysis to generate rigid 

aliphatic scaffolds of high value.
