I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematical Sciences "G. L. Lagrange" of Politecnico di Torino (DISMA).
My research aims to understand the spatial and temporal dynamics of natural systems using mathematical and computational modeling techniques. I am interested in how emergent collective behaviors arise from individual interactions and how environmental conditions influence these complex dynamics. My research has addressed these questions in a range of contexts, including follower-leader systems, chase-and-run dynamics, plant community dynamics under wildfire disturbance and nanoscale diffusion processes.
Mathematics is my scientific background, providing me with a rigorous approach to address my research questions. Additionally, I have always been fascinated by ecological and biological applications. This combination drives me to integrate diverse forms of knowledge and collaborate with experts from various fields, including experimental biology, nanotechnology, plant ecology and even beekeeping.Â
