Research Overview

My research is in the field of mathematical modeling and computational neuroscience, which involves utilizing mathematical modeling, sensitivity analysis, and parameter estimation techniques applied to problems in neuroscience.

In particular, I am interested in formulating mathematical models to represent and gain insight on neurological disorders, such as ischemic stroke, as well as utilizing computational techniques on model inputs. This involves utilizing sensitivity analysis algorithms, both local and global, to explore how model parameters relating to various components affect model outputs. I am also interested in uncertainty quantification techniques to analyze parameters, as well as parameter estimation methods to fit model parameters.
