Sara Moussawi
I am a faculty member in Information Systems (IS) at Carnegie Mellon University. Through my affiliation with the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, and the Integrative Design, Arts, and Technology Network, I teach a number of research-focused, interdisciplinary, and experiential learning courses. I am a behavioral information systems researcher by training. My research investigates questions related to micro-level IS phenomena, e.g., IS adoption, IS continuance, IS use, and trust.
I am an active member of the Information Systems community and have been serving in our main conferences as a track chair, a mini-track chair, and an associate editor for several years (the Americas Conference of Information Systems, the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences, and the International Conference of Information Systems).
I received my Ph.D. in Information Systems from Baruch College of the City University of New York, an MBA and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut, and an M. Phil. in Business from the City University of New York.
