Beatbox is a tabletop toy for remote collaborative music-making. Individuals from one end can tap on a box to create a rhythm which is passed on to a remote user who has a flower-shaped tabletop device (receiver) that vibrates with the rhythm. Remote user can put different physical objects on that tabletop device (receiver) to create physical noise. Combining different physical noises in a different rhythm, users can collaboratively make music. This concept toy is focused on bringing children with mixed abilities to engage in creative fun activities.
