Greetings everyone,

We are a new group at the Department of Condensed Matter and Material Physics, S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences. The main focus of the group is to investigate materials and devices for quantum technologies. We are interested to explore topological phenomena in various materials such as HgTe, Bi-based topological insulators, WTe, etc.  We fabricate nanostructures from these materials using a variety of techniques including (but not limited to) lithography (optical and e-beam), etching, and deposition. The fabricated devices are then measured under extreme conditions of ultra-low temperatures (mK) and high magnetic fields (12 T). For more details, hop on to the Research page or see the video on the right. If you are an enthusiastic Bachelors's/Masters's student or a fresh Ph.D., then please look at the open positions section.
