Privacy Policy for GK And Reasoning Application
Effective Date: November 9, 2025
1. Introduction This Privacy Policy is for the GK And Reasoning mobile application ("the Service"), published by SAA Publisher ("we", "us", or "our").The app is designed for learning through quiz-style questions in two sections: General Knowledge and Reasoning. Our goal is to provide a simple and fun experience while being transparent about our data practices and respecting your privacy.
2. Age Verification and Data Processing When you first launch the application, we will ask you to confirm your age. This step is mandatory and determines how we process your data to comply with global privacy laws.
Users Under 13: This Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. Users who identify as under 13 will not be permitted to access or use the Service.
Users 13-17: To comply with data protection laws (such as India's DPDP Act and Google's Families Policy), users who identify as 13-17 will receive a version of the app with privacy features automatically enabled. For this group, we do not collect any analytics or crash data and only request non-personalized advertisements.
Users 18 and Older: Users who identify as 18 or older will be presented with a consent form (managed by Google's User Messaging Platform) where required by law (e.g., in Europe, the UK, or California). This form allows you to consent to or decline the collection of data for analytics and personalized advertising. In regions where a consent form is not legally required, we may collect data for these purposes.
3. Information We Collect and How We Use It Our Service does not require you to create an account or provide any direct personal information like your name, email, or password. The data we collect depends entirely on the age you provide and the consent you give.
A) For Users 18 and Older: To maintain and improve the Service for this group, we work with third-party partners (Google) that may automatically collect data, subject to your consent. We use this data for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain our Service.
To monitor and analyze usage to improve the app's functionality.
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and application crashes.
To provide relevant personalized or non-personalized advertisements to support the app.
The specific types of data collected only from this group may include:
Usage and Analytics Data (via Google Analytics for Firebase): Information about how you interact with our app, such as device type, OS version, and diagnostic data.
Crashlytics Data (via Firebase Crashlytics): Crash reports to help us diagnose and fix bugs.
Advertising Data (via Google AdMob): Your device's Advertising ID to serve personalized ads, subject to your consent.
B) For Users 13-17: To provide a free service, we show advertisements. For this age group, we only show non-personalized (contextual) ads, which do not use your advertising ID for tracking. We do not collect any analytics or crash data for this group.
4. Sharing Your Information & Service Providers We do not manually share your data. However, our app integrates with the following Google services, which are used conditionally based on your age and consent as described in Section 3:
Google Analytics for Firebase: Tracks app usage (18+ only).
Firebase Crashlytics: Reports on app crashes (18+ only).
AdMob by Google: Provides advertisements (Non-personalized for 13-17; Personalized or Non-personalized for 18+).
We encourage you to review Google's policies:

5. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
We believe in giving you control over your data. Your rights and choices differ based on your age and location.
Primary Choice (Age Gate): Your first and most important choice is made on the age gate when you first launch the app. This determines the privacy settings for your account.
Users 13-17: Your privacy is automatically protected. The "Usage & Diagnostics" toggle in the settings screen is disabled, and you only receive non-personalized ads. You do not need to do anything.
Users 18 and Older: You have full control over your data, which you can manage in two ways:
In-App Settings (For Users 18+): You can visit our "Privacy Settings" screen at any time.
For users in regulated regions (e.g., Europe, UK, California): This screen allows you to update the consent you provided on the pop-up form you saw on first use.
For users in all other regions: This screen provides a direct toggle to enable or disable "Usage & Diagnostics" (analytics) at any time.
Device-Level Settings (For All Users): Separately from our app, you can limit personalized advertising for all apps on your device by adjusting your Android settings. This is typically found under Settings > Google > Ads.
6. Data Security We do not store the data collected by these services on our own servers. We rely on the robust security measures provided by Google to protect your information.
7. Data Retention Data collected by our third-party service providers (Google) is retained according to their own data retention policies. We do not control the duration for which this data is stored.
8. Children's Privacy Our Service is not intended for anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly permit users under 13 to access the Service, and our age gate is designed to block this usage.
Furthermore, we recognize that different laws provide special protections for users under 18 (e.g., India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act). Therefore, we treat all users between the ages of 13 and 17 as a child-directed audience.
For users in the 13-17 age group, we:
DO NOT collect any analytics or app stability data (like Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics).
DO NOT request or show personalized advertising.
ONLY show non-personalized (contextual) ads to support the Service.
· If you are a parent or guardian and realize your child has provided a false age and is using the app (e.g., a 10-year-old selected "18 or Older"), please contact us immediately at sa.apps.publisher@gmail.com.
· We will guide you through a simple, in-app process to find your device's unique "App Instance ID." Once you provide us with this ID, we will permanently delete all associated analytics data from our servers.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the application and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
