2. Age Verification and Age Signals
To ensure strict legal compliance with global privacy laws—including Brazil's Digital ECA, India's DPDP Act, and the US COPPA—our app uses a two-step age verification process:
Automatic Background Checks: Our app securely and silently communicates with Google Play services in the background to detect if the device is operated by a child (typically under 13). This process does not display any forms or pop-ups, nor does it collect or share your personal identity.
Manual Age Gate: If the background system does not flag a child account, we present a simple age confirmation screen when you first launch the application. This step is mandatory to determine how we handle your data.
How we handle different age groups:
Users Under 13: This Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. If the background system flags the account as a child, or if a user identifies as under 13 on the age screen, they will not be permitted to access or use the Service.
Users 13-17: Users who identify as 13-17 on the age screen will receive a version of the app with privacy features automatically enabled. We completely disable the collection of analytics or crash data and restrict advertisements to non-personalized formats only.
Users 18 and Older: Users who identify as 18 or older will be presented with a standard consent form (managed by Google's User Messaging Platform) where required by law. This form allows you to choose whether or not to allow data collection for analytics and personalized advertising.

5. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
We believe in giving you control over your data. Your rights and choices differ based on your age and location.
Primary Choice (Age Gate): Your first and most important choice is made on the age gate when you first launch the app. This dictates the age signal we send to our advertising and analytics partners.
Users 13-17: Your privacy is automatically protected. The "Usage & Diagnostics" toggle in the settings screen is disabled, and you only receive non-personalized ads. You do not need to do anything.
Users 18 and Older: You have full control over your data, which you can manage in two ways:
