In my free time, I love sketching.. some of my recent works are seen below.. :) Personally, I am fascinated most by structural marvels and cityscapes.. although the occasional Vermeer or Van Gogh is as enjoyable..

My impression of Esplanade, the heart of Kolkata. Drawn during one of those many moments in which I really miss my city.

Known to be a bit of an aviation buff :)
This is a small tribute to Indian Airlines, the previous national domestic carrier of India, which was merged with Air India in the late 2000s.
The first aircraft is the French made SUD-Aviation-Caravelle, which was one of the earliest jet aircrafts to roam the Indian skies.
The middle one is the more modest, Indo-British collaborative project HAL-Hawker Siddley HS-748.
The last one is the Boeing 737-200. This model was the workhorse of the fleet for a long time before their conversion to freighter and eventual retirement in the late 2000s. Those sleek P&W turbofans sure did pack some punch :)

A night time capture of the Biotech building in RPI campus, Troy, NY through the glass door of my apartment building..
Surely the evening lights and winter rain do make a good love story :)
