Five years ago, I moved from one of the sunniest places in the world to the northern USA. I’ve always thrived in sunshine—on sandy beaches, under parasols, and in places where pine needles are a rare sight. As you can imagine, it took me some time to get used to the long, dark North American winters. Over the years, I’ve discovered some useful ways to help me get through winter's cold, grey stretches while tending to my mental health. One of them is light therapy.
