In Case You're Wondering:
The Saplings Parents’ Association (or Saplings PAC) is a group of parent and caregiver volunteers who support the Saplings community. All parents and caregivers are automatically members. If you’re interested in being more involved or learning about ways to participate, you’re always welcome to reach out.
No. Participation in the PAC is always optional. Families can be as involved as works for them in any given season. This can look like attending meetings, to volunteering occasionally, to simply staying informed.
The PAC helps build community among families, supports school-wide initiatives, organizes events and fundraisers, and provides a space for parent voice when appropriate. The PAC’s role is to support the school, educators, and students.
The PAC does not manage school operations, curriculum, staffing, or individual student matters. Questions or concerns about individual children are best directed to the school team directly.
The PAC executive is made up of parent volunteers who help coordinate meetings, communication, and activities. Executive roles rotate over time and are filled by parents who are willing and able to support the work of the PAC. You can find the current members here.
Most decisions are made collectively during PAC meetings. Larger decisions are shared in advance when possible. Smaller or time-sensitive decisions may be handled by the PAC executive to keep things moving. All governance documents can be found here.
Parents are always welcome to share ideas, questions, or feedback with the PAC. This can be done by attending a meeting, through the dedicated WhatsApp channel or contacting the PAC by email. Click here.

All levels of involvement are valued. Our community is strengthened by the diverse experiences, skills, and perspectives of the families who make up Saplings.
The PAC exists to help strengthen the sense of community that makes Saplings special. By creating opportunities for families to connect and get to know one another, the PAC supports relationships that help families feel rooted and supported as they move through the school.
