The Association has always played a key part in the competition scene for apprentice Painter and Decorators. A long history has been established and to this day is one of the main roles of those involved in the management committee ensure that the groundwork for each of the annual competition is put in place. These provide the students and colleges with the opportunity to take part in a verity of events and meet their fellow students from around the country, progression from the national events can lead on to UK or even international competitions.
