Waste Fellows: Where no waste goes to waste

During breakfast at the Young Founder's Summit, my team and I watched piles of food from the buffet being dumped into bins. Upon research, we learnt Singapore throws away over 1.5 billion pounds of food every year.  We knew we had to do something about this. 

That's where Waste Fellows was born. 

Waste Fellows is a sustainable four-stage circular economy startup leading the charge in turning food waste to value. Our platform bridges restaurants and farms, where restaurants give us food waste, we convert it into compost and fertiliser, and farms use it to grow produce sold back to restaurants through vouchers.
