I am a Faculty Research Assistant in the Galimba Lab at the Mid-Columbia Agricultural Research and Extension Center in Hood River, Oregon. Our research focuses on optimizing yield and fruit quality in pear (Pyrus communis) and sweet cherry (Prunus avium) orchard production systems. Key areas of investigation include improving cold hardiness in cherries and enhancing climate resilience in pome fruits, to advance sustainable and productive orchard practices for these crops.
Research Interests:
Plant Physiology with a focus on water relations and stress responses
Nutrient management with a focus on efficiency and sustainability.
