We welcomed Ellis James into the world on the 2nd!! Both he and momma Caitlyn are doing well!
Our trip home was great. No hitches or problems whatsoever!
The Children's Day event was a HIT! There were over 80 children and 10 parents present!
Translating for the retired cop from Texas is going well. There's one more opportunity, Wednesday, and it's to police officers at one of the batallions, so keep praying!
The 2nd multi-church men's gathering went very well!

Castro Alves men's group has been growing in number and also deeper. The men are doing more together OUTSIDE the church "walls" which is SUPER healthy for them! (pic below)
We've already received 3 generous gifts for the BMMB MK Retreat!!!
Our church people are working on a Christmas cantata with their own director for the first time ever! It's not always easy to let a ministry go, but it IS our goal and we're very proud of them!

A BIT ABOUT US
We joined BMM in 1984, after God made His will and call for our lives unmistakably clear. After finishing college and raising support we moved to the 3rd largest city in the world, referred to as a "mini-continent" because at 26 million, it's population is larger than 3/4 of the worl'd's countries! It's the mega-metropolis of São Paulo, Brazil; extremely urban with the unique challenges this type of city presents to ministry.
We've been privileged to revitalize and expand a youth camp, plant 4 churches and help revitalize one more, as well as host over 1600 "short-termers" on mission trips, sent from dozens of US churches.
We have entered a new phase of ministry where we are shepherding Brazilian pastors and their wives both formally and informally, as well as training new pastors and lay leaders. We also have the honor of shepherding our BMM Brazil colleagues, training new missionaries as they start pre-field ministry, and participating in BMM's Global ministry through vision casting, strategic planning, and even ongoing professional development for our missionaries around the world!
