Around the first week, we attempted to do everything we could to do all the important action heavy scenes in Umbra; Part 1 of the film. It also shared many different extras throughout the days along with stringing choregraphy consistently for scenes that needed fighting but wasn't quite elaborated in the script that we had written.
On an interesting note; We got to learn more about how each of us operate on the crew and cast. As we got into the meat of the plot, we did our best to learn more about cinematography on set that fit scenes. We also had to work around many of the locations we went through as some had their own sets of complications with landscape or that they have been preoccupied already.
It was also a major challenge to be able to stay on track with the tone of the film despite it being written as a dramedy. Another note is that we were able to get Umbra done after these weeks and get into the bones of Santiago; Part 2 of the film.
As far as we are concerned, we're trying to wrap up filming in about 3 weeks, there's about a quarter of Act 2 scenes left wheras Act 3 is being filmed around the same time as those due to actor schedule conflictions.
I'm sure we can pull it off despite it all, after all, it's been pretty easy meshing up the schedule with those two acts happening side by side, making it easier to give consistent characterization of the protagonists and antagonists with everyone knowing their story.
