I believe science is necessary for understanding our complex and changing world, particularly when it comes to global change issues like the dual climate and biodiversity crises. Yet, I am also aware that scientific knowledge alone is insufficient for driving sustained and meaningful improvements for our planet, people, and nature.
I therefore strive to disseminate my research widely within and outside academia, as well as to develop collaborative projects with scholars, practitioners and policy-makers, local communities, and other stakeholders. I also write opinion pieces on key policy developments in Mexico.
Do get in touch if you are interested in exploring collaborations!
