Santhi Jewellery ("we", "us", "our"), located at 67/2, THIRUNALLAR ROAD, KARAIKAL - 609602, operates the Santhi Jewellery mobile app Santhi Jewellry, which lets customers join and manage jewellery savings / chit schemes, view instalments, make payments and receive updates.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information you give us
- Name, mobile number, email address and postal address
- Date of birth and nominee details (if required for a scheme)
- KYC details such as PAN or Aadhaar number (only where required by law or scheme rules)
- Scheme details: scheme number, instalments paid, due dates, and redemption history
b) Payment information
- Payments are processed by our payment partner [Razorpay / PhonePe / Paytm / other]. We do not store your full card, UPI PIN or bank login details. We only receive the transaction reference and status.
c) Automatically collected information
- Device model, operating system version, app version and crash logs
- Push-notification token (to send instalment reminders and offers)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and chit/savings schemes
- To verify your identity via OTP
- To process and record instalment payments
- To send payment reminders, receipts, scheme maturity alerts and offers (by SMS, WhatsApp, notification or email)
- To provide customer support
- To improve app performance and fix errors
- To comply with legal, tax and regulatory requirements
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Payment gateways, to process payments
- SMS / OTP / notification service providers, to send messages
- Cloud hosting providers, to store data securely
- Government or legal authorities, when required by law
4. Data Security
We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted staff access, to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account or scheme is active, and afterwards for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting laws. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your Rights and Account Deletion
You may request to access, correct or delete your personal data. To delete your account and data:
- Use the "Delete Account" option in the App (if available), or
- Email [your email] or call [phone number] with your registered mobile number.
We will process your request within [30] days. Records we must keep by law (e.g. payment/tax records) may be retained for the legally required period.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
