With a background in engineering, my passion lies in advancing healthcare through material innovation. Beyond research, I find inspiration in painting and immerse myself in the world of books.

I am Harinarayanan T A, a second-year Master's student working under the guidance of Dr. Santanu Mandal. With his support, I received the DAAD-KOSPIE Scholarship, and my thesis is titled "Development of Silicon Oxycarbide as a Diffusion Barrier in Carbon Fiber/Aluminum-based Metal Matrix Composites." My hobbies include traveling, playing football, and watching cinema.
Vishal Kumar Prasad
I am Vishal Kumar Prasad, a First-year Master's student working under the guidance of Dr. Santanu Mandal. My thesis is titled "Development of Zn based alloys and composites for biomedical applications".
My hobbies include playing football and volleyball, as well as watching anime.

Durgesh Agrawal (2024-2025)
My name is Durgesh Agrawal, a B.Tech graduate from IIT Bhubaneswar (2025) in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering. I have been working under the supervision of Dr. Santanu Mandal on a Btech project titled “Enhancing Bone Healing with Tricalcium Phosphate and Forsterite.” Outside academics, I enjoy travelling and coding, which help me stay curious and creatively engaged.
Desh Mukh Pal (2024-2025)
My name is Desh Mukh Pal, a final-year B.Tech student working under the guidance of Dr. Santanu Mandal. My B.Tech project is titled “Development of Porous Magnesium Phosphate Scaffold Doped with Zinc and Coated with Polymer-Derived Ceramic (PDC) to Enhance Bone Regeneration.”
Outside academics, I enjoy playing basketball, traveling, and watching movies.
