Meet the Board

The Santa Clara County Teen CERT board manages each city board and makes program-wide decisions. Individual city boards focus on recruitment and helping their members get through the online course. More information on the county and city board positions can be found here.  Anyone can apply for board positions. The application process consists of filling out this form. Next year's board elections will be held at a later date.

Victoria Bebee, Teen CERT Program Manager

Bridget Liu, Co-Chair

Bridget is a senior who values community service and emergency preparation, especially for medical situations. She enjoys teaching others. In her free time, she likes to read, cook, and hang out with friends. Through Teen CERT, she is excited to educate more people on how to keep a community safe and how to respond to medical disasters.

Lucy Kralevich, Co-Chair

Lucy Kralevich is a senior and has been a part of the Teen CERT board for Los Altos since its creation. Lucy enjoys teaching others about the importance of emergency response and reaching out to those in need. Lucy likes to spend her free time baking, coding, and working on robots with her robotics team. Through Teen CERT she hope to make the world a better and more safe place.

Anthony Tam, Incident Commander/BSA Liaison/Vice Chair

Anthony Tam is a senior and an active community member. He is an active member of his boy scout troop and his order of the arrow lodge. Anthony enjoys teaching people about being prepared for emergencies and first aid. He enjoys taking photos, hanging out with friends, and learning more about medicine in his free time. Through Teen CERT, he hopes to get more community members involved in emergency preparedness.  In addition, he hopes to be able to lead more young people and become a better leader. 

Joanne Lin, LAHS Club leader/Operations Head

Joanne Lin is a sophomore. She values helping others, one way being through community service. In her free time, she enjoys playing the violin, skiing, and spending time with friends among a few other hobbies. She hopes to support those in her community and promote emergency preparedness through Teen CERT.

Maggie Scott, Secretary/Website Master

Maggie Scott is a junior. She likes to who likes to learn and volunteer in various medical settings. Outside of CERT, she enjoys playing the cello, color guard, and embroidery. Through Teen CERT, she hopes to learn more about emergency preperation and how to keep a community safe in emergencies.

Kevin Lee, Public Information Officer/Photographer

Kevin Lee is a senior who likes to help keep the public knowledgeable. In his free time, he enjoys photography, aviation, and robotics. Through Teen CERT, he hopes to learn how to keep the community prepared in case of an emergency through his photos.

Kaamya Kalyani - IC Scribe

Kaamya is a junior who values emergency preparation and is part of the Teen CERT board as the IC scribe. Outside of CERT, she likes to bake, read, and hang with her friends. Through Teen CERT, she’s excited to learn more about medical skills to help her community.

Michelle Valencia, Public Relations Head

Michelle Valencia is a senior and is a member of the Teen CERT program and board as the Public Relations Head. She loves teaching her community how to be prepared in case of emergencies so the community is overall safer. In her free time she likes to go on walks in the evening and experiment with different foods. Through Teen CERT, she hopes to continue educating young people on emergency preparedness so they can go off and urge members of their own communities to join them on this same journey.

Evelyn Aguilar, Communications Team

Evelyn Aguilar is a senior who is a proud member of Teen CERT and an active member of the Los Altos and Mountain View community. This is her first year on the Teen CERT board and is excited to teach more people about preparation for emergencies and first aid. In her free time, she loves to go on hikes and go to record stores to listen to her favorite music. Through Teen CERT, she hopes to take action and make a difference in her community!

Alice Akutsu, Communications Team

Alice is a junior who values community service. She is part of the Teen CERT board’s communications team. She is a creative and observant person and in her free time she likes to hang out with friends, watch reality tv shows, and cook. Through Teen CERT, she hopes to spread awareness in her community. 

Ishani Agarwal, SHS Liaison

Ishani Agarwal is a junior and is an active member of the community. She is passionate about robotics, math, and enjoys playing the viola. In her free time, she loves biking, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. Through Teen CERT she hopes to spread knowledge and awareness about emergency preparedness and aims to make the community a safer place for everyone.
