San Manuel Municipal Library offers free utilization of information technology equipment for internet browsing and academic purposes only. Encoding and editing of school and home works. Youtube and streaming media is strictly prohibited. Library patrons have one (1) hour allotment to use the IT equipment, opt to extend but upon the availability of the unit.

San Manuel Municipal Library practices the open shelves system to facilitate easy access and retrieval of the library collections. It allows students to read books inside of the reading area. Students/library patrons must follow the library rules inside the library premises.
All library books used can be left in the reading area if not returned to their proper places. However, returning books are, according to the Dewey Decimal Classification System, arranged in ascending order through classification number and subject.
SMM Library holdings are 2,545, including Filipiñana, children's books, fiction, general collections, and other ready references or encyclopedias. These library collections are mostly coming from the yearly book allocations of the National Library of the Philippines and The Asia Foundation, donors from different institutions and individual entities, and some are purchased, and it is funded by the Local Government Unit of San Manuel.
Loaning out books or borrowing books is available and applicable to those 18 years old and above, but those below 18 years old must be accompanied by their parents/guardians. A maximum of three (3) titles of books can be loaned out within three weeks only. However, the borrower must present any valid government-issued ID and be willing to deposit it until books are not yet returned to the SMM Library. In case the collections borrowed are damaged or have torn pages, they must be fixed before return, but if lost, the borrower is responsible for replacing the materials with the same title.
Donations or gifts are acceptable when it is ten (10) years copyright with good conditions.

LOCAL HISTORY OF MUNICIPALITY OF SAN MANUEL
In 1688 the Convento was erected and in 1720, both the church and convent were in place at Pau but were burned down due to a bad omen superstition, hence Asingan fused San Manuel was but natives moved Guiset, a name of San Manuel (great bamboo thickets). In 1860, San Manuel was decreed a town for the second time.

ACTIVITY: STORY TELLING
Story telling can help children learn new words, improve their grammar, and develop their reading skills. Not only do stories introduce new vocabulary, but they give children opportunities to use them in various contexts. Storytelling can also help children learn how to express their emotions in a healthy way.
