Developed a full-stack iOS application using API functionality from Firebase Firestore database
The main business idea of this application is to provide an efficient way for carpooling through an application that connects seekers looking to get a ride and drivers (providers) who want to give a ride.
The application has two main flows:
In the first flow, the user registers to be a member of the RidePool application
Users can then login with the seeker login and book rides that they require using the GUI of the application
Users can also cancel rides if needed
Once a ride is approved by a driver, the seeker can then pay for the ride and track the driver live (currently using dummy data to track the Provider)
After the ride is successfully completed, the user can also provide a rating for the ride
The second flow is when a user registers to be a provider with the RidePool application
Only registered providers will be allowed to login through the provider portal
Here drivers can add and delete rides that they wish to provide
Once a seeker requests a ride listed by the provider, the provider can get live tracking of the seeker's location (currently using dummy data to track the seeker)
