I am seeking a PhD position for 2027. If my experience, interests, and skill sets match your group, please feel free to email me or connect on LinkedIn!
I am Sang Yun Han, a master's student at Yonsei University’s Microwave Integrated Circuits and Systems Lab (MICS) under the supervision of Professor Byung-Wook. My work is dedicated to bridging the gap between electromagnetic theory and practical RF hardware, with a focus on the development of Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) and beamforming systems.
Previously, I served as an undergraduate researcher in the Applied Electromagnetics Group (AEM) under Professor Daniel Sievenpiper at the University of California, San Diego.
I look forward to specializing in RF/Microwave Systems, RFIC, and EM/Antenna design. I am currently seeking a PhD position for 2027 to further explore the synergy between integrated circuits and advanced electromagnetic wave control for next-generation wireless architectures.
