Sangyoon Park

I am an Associate Professor at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. My primary research area is development economics, with a focus on examining the role of informal institutions, such as social relationships and social norms, in economic development. I am also interested in interdisciplinary research using computer vision and deep learning models with applications for research in economics and social science.
