Dr. Vidya Raja is a distinguished Carnatic vocalist, musicologist, researcher, and educator, she has made significant contributions to both the fields of music and academics. A recipient of the prestigious *Senior Fellowship under the scheme Outstanding Persons in the Fields of Culture from Ministry of culture Govt of India*, she has pioneered research on the topic “ *Impact of Carnatic Music on the Mathematical Ability in Children,* ” exploring the interdisciplinary connection between music and cognitive development.

She has performed Carnatic vocal concerts at prestigious venues, earning appreciation for her depth, classicism, and scholarly approach to music. With over a decade of experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level, she brings a rare blend of artistic excellence and academic rigor. She is also a graded artist of All India Radio .

As a dedicated mentor, she is currently training young aspirants who have won several awards and accolades in various competitions and platforms. She has also conducted teacher workshops focusing on integrating music into the teaching of core subjects, thereby promoting innovative and holistic approaches to education.
