My research program seeks to define how the biophysical properties of the cell surface shape immune recognition and therapeutic response, and to leverage these principles to engineer more effective cell-based cancer immunotherapies. Specifically, my work focuses on understanding how the cancer glycocalyx regulates immune engagement, developing glycocalyx-targeting and glycocalyx-editing CAR-T cells, and integrating quantitative biophysics with immunoengineering to design next-generation cancer therapies.Ā
