Sangre de Campeón is a Peruvian folkloric dance group based in Raleigh, NC, dedicated to preserving and sharing the richness of Peruvian culture through dance. With passion, pride, and commitment, we bring the rhythms, traditions, and stories of Peru to new audiences, ensuring that our heritage continues to thrive far from home.
Founded in October 2023 by Denisse Díaz, a passionate cultural leader, Sangre de Campeón has quickly become a space where tradition and artistry come together. Through her vision, the group has grown into a cultural force, representing Peru with authenticity and energy.

Sangre de Campeón es un grupo de danza folclórica peruana con sede en Raleigh, NC, dedicado a preservar y compartir la riqueza de nuestra cultura a través de la danza. Con pasión, orgullo y compromiso, llevamos los ritmos, tradiciones e historias del Perú a nuevas audiencias, asegurando que nuestro legado siga vivo, incluso lejos de casa.
Fundado en octubre del 2023 por Denisse Díaz, una líder cultural apasionada, Sangre de Campeón se ha convertido en un espacio donde la tradición y el arte se unen. Gracias a su visión, el grupo ha crecido como una fuerza cultural que representa al Perú con autenticidad y energía.

Denisse Díaz is not only the founder of Sangre de Campeón, but also a recognized advocate for the arts and Peruvian folklore. In 2024, she received a special mention from the Diamante Arts & Cultural Center (DACC) for her dedication to preserving and promoting Peruvian traditions in North Carolina. Her leadership has turned Sangre de Campeón into a family that honors Peru’s rich cultural legacy and inspires future generations.
