PROFILE
Dr. Nguyen Quang Sang was born in Long An, Vietnam, in 1987. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in 2010 and his Master of Engineering degree in 2012, both in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, respectively. In 2017, he obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ulsan, South Korea.
From January to June 2017, he conducted postdoctoral research at Queen's University Belfast, UK. Following this, he served as a Lecturer at Duy Tan University, Vietnam, from July 2017 to April 2021. Between May 2021 and November 2022, he was both a Lecturer and Director of the International Relations Department at Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport.
At Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, he led the research group on Science Technology Application on Sustainable Development (STASD) and served as the Secretary General of the Journal of Transportation Science and Technology (JTST). From November 2022 to June 2024, he held the position of Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the same institution.
Since July 2024, Dr. Nguyen has joined the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City campus (PTIT-HCM), as a Lecturer. His primary research areas include Cooperative Communication, Cognitive Radio, Physical Layer Security, Energy Harvesting, Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access, Unreliable Backhaul Connections, and Short Packet Communications.
